Centuries of history are piled on its stones—but as a nation, it’s just getting started. With a population and size comparable to that of New Jersey, Israel is nevertheless a world leader in business, arts and innovation. NJPAC salutes Israel on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding with a series that celebrates what the county has accomplished, applauds its artists, and considers what comes next for this still-young country.

We’ll do it through conversations about history and current events, and the many ties between Israel and New Jersey. And we’ll explore the cultural diversity of Israel—the home of immigrants from more than 100 countries—through film, music, and more. Stay tuned as more programs are announced in the Israel at 70 series.
