Lou Gramm: The Voice of Foreigner
with special guest Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane/Starship
Lou Gramm, former lead singer and songwriting partner for Foreigner (“I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You”), performs in a greatest-hits benefit for guitarist Slick Aguilar of Jefferson Starship fame.
The concert, a fundraiser to assist Aguilar with his ongoing health management and treatment, includes appearances by Marty Balin – founder and one of the lead vocalists of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship – and other special guests.
Gramm is heard on all of Foreigner’s chart-busting songs, including “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice,” “Double Vision,” “Blue Morning, Blue Day” and “Juke Box Hero.” He co-wrote most of the songs for the band, which has sold more than 70 million records worldwide. Gramm’s first solo album, the acclaimed Ready or Not, produced the Top Five hit single “Midnight Blue.”
VIP package includes best seats in the house, meet-and-greet cocktail reception one hour prior to the concert and an autographed copy of Lou Gramm’s biography, Juke Box Hero.
A silent auction of signed rock’n’roll memorabilia from various artists will take place in the lobby.
