Theatre Square Development Company, LLC

NJPAC and Dranoff Properties, Inc. of Philadelphia have signed a Letter of Intent for the development of One Theater Square, a mixed-use residential and retail project on a 1.2 acre site adjacent to the Arts Center.

One Theater Square is envisioned to include a residential community of 250 units with 20,000 square feet of street-level retail and cultural uses, and structured parking to serve the shared needs of the residential community as well as those of NJPAC’s audiences and daytime commercial demand.

In 2011, the Theater Square Development Company was created to focus specifically on the Arts Center’s development projects. NJPAC Founding CEO Lawrence P. Goldman is heading up this effort, a key aspect of the Arts Center’s larger mission of revitalization in the City of Newark.
