Visitors to NJPAC marvel at “Ten Great Circles”—the glass sphere that glimmers high above Prudential Hall. What many don’t know is that the dazzling chandelier isn’t lit from the inside—it refracts light from the sources around it. We love the symbolism of that because it reminds us daily that NJPAC cannot shine without the “light” of countless dedicated supporters.
As a nonprofit organization, our dedicated donors, members and corporate sponsors are behind everything that we accomplish. You make possible exhilarating performances on our stages, inspirational arts education programs for 60,000 youth annually, free performances for the community, the continuing renaissance of Newark, and special initiatives which bring great minds to the Arts Center for discussions and presentations.
Since the inception of the Arts Center, your generous charitable gifts have provided an indispensable core of support for NJPAC performances and programs. We cannot do what we do just through ticket sales and related revenue. Your philanthropy accounts for 45% of NJPAC’s annual budget and brings the Arts Center’s mission to life.
