Creativity Matters:
The Arts and Aging Toolkit

This resource guide was developed in partnership between NJPAC, the National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA), and the National Guild for Community Schools in the Arts (NGCSA) with support from NJ Healthcare Foundation, MetLife Foundation, Roche and NAMM.

Designed for the arts and aging services field, this resource explains why and how older adults benefit from participating in professionally conducted arts programs, and offers detailed advice and examples on designing, implementing, and evaluating these programs.

This toolkit is a direct outcome from the First National Conference on Arts and Aging, held at NJPAC in 2006.
