Ninth Season of 'America's Got Talent' Returns to NJPAC for Season 9 Auditions
NEWARK, NJ (February 10, 2014) – Summer’s number one reality show – NBC’s "America's Got Talent," which broadcast live from NJPAC’s Prudential Hall during the summer of 2012 – returns to the Arts Center Thursday, February 20 through Saturday, February 22, 2014. The outstanding acts from the Season 9 Open Call auditions will be invited back to perform in front of celebrity judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern in sessions filmed in front of a live audience and hosted by Nick Cannon. Located in Newark, NJ, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center is among the largest performing arts centers in the United States. For eight straight years, “America’s Got Talent” has ranked as the #1 summer reality series in total viewers. The 2013 season was also the #1 summer reality series on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49. “America’s Got Talent” is the only talent competition show open to any age and any talent. The series is a true celebration of the American spirit, featuring a colorful array of hopeful stars all vying for their chance to perform on stage to win America’s hearts and the $1 million prize.
