When you know how to listen, classical music means more

When you learn how to listen, classical music can mean so much more! NJPAC invites you to join us on a journey into the heart of some of the most beloved works by composers from Stravinsky to Chopin and Tchaikovsky: Classical Conversation @NJPAC.  George Marriner Maull, host of NJPAC’s Classical Overtures, artistic director of The Discovery Orchestra, and host of Inside Music on WWFM 89.1, will guide us note by note through these pieces, giving you insight and historical context for signature works in the genre like Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring — our first selection! Get the backstory to a series of masterpieces through these Zoom discussions with Maull; then, dive deeper with a downloadable listening guide and suggested YouTube performances to make sure you don’t miss a note.
