Overview
“The Wizard will see you now!” Composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz — the Wizard behind the music of Wicked — has penned some of the most “popular” Broadway and Hollywood musicals of the last five decades. On this special night, he leads a symphonic celebration of Wicked’s 22 years on Broadway and the release of the film Wicked: For Good. Along with a twelve-piece pops orchestra, the stars will come out to perform hits from Schwartz’s award-winning career: from Godspell to Pippin to Wicked and beyond. Experience the gravity-defying music of this magical songwriter.

The American Song series at NJPAC is presented, in part, through the generous support of the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, the David S. Steiner and Sylvia Steiner Charitable Trust, the Joan and Allen Bildner Family Fund, the Smart Family Foundation/David S. Stone, Esq., Stone & Magnanini.
