Hip Hop is all around us, and is embedded deeply in each of our daily lives more that we see. Through creative writing prompts, collaborative group work, and personal reflection, participants will discover their artistic and educator strengths as individuals and collectively as a “crew”. Feel the beat as we rap our anthems of triumph and change in arts education and empower ourselves and our students to speak, sing, and dance out our truth.
