Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a performance? Go backstage for a day of exploration and learning with NJPAC’s professional stagehands, members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). Students in grades 8–12 will rotate through hands-on workshops in several areas of technical theater production, including lighting, audio, wardrobe and carpentry. Plus, learn the secrets of Prudential Hall and Victoria Theater on a guided tour. You might be surprised to discover the wide variety of potential career paths in the performing arts!
