EvolutionDopenMic continues throughout the fall season, with an upcoming show hosted on Saturday, November 12th in partnership with NJPAC’s City Verses and Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies.

Join us at the Clement’s Place Jazz at Rutgers Newark, NJ for a Birthday Celebration of EvoluCulture members The IZM and Don Krypton. IZM, Hip Hop / House Artist and Evolu’s Brand Ambassador will not only make his Dopen Mic DJ debut providing sounds for the evening, but will be in perfomer mode as part of a double feature with singer/songwriter Tauree.

Krypton, poet Evolu General Manager will be the special guest host of the evening. PLUS: 10-slot open mic list for all performer types (first come first served) and appearances by President Treasure Borde and CEO Sean Battle. Evolution Dopen Mic, one of the longest running active open mics in Newark, NJ is the flagship show of EvoluCulture Ventures, a Newark-based integrated media and performing arts organization aimed to hold space for artists and art lovers.

City Verses is conducted in partnership with Rutgers University-Newark.
