On Saturday, December 10th, singer/songwriter Gail Campbell headlines the final Evolution Dopen Mic of 2022 in partnership with NJPAC’s City Verses and Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies.

Campbell comes to Clement’s Place Jazz at Newark, NJ with a voice built for stadiums. Her latest album LET MY PEOPLE GO, in collaboration with producer Stanley Ipkiss is available on all streaming platforms.

We are also taking donations of socks, hats, and other clothing as part of a winter drive to assist those in need.

PLUS: 10-slot open mic list for all performer types to share their talent (first come first served), The IZM as our DJ and Sean Battle as host.

Evolution Dopen Mic, one of the longest running active open mics in Newark, NJ  is the flagship show of EvoluCulture Ventures, a Newark-based integrated media and performing arts organization aimed to hold space for artists and art lovers.
