Take your family to NJPAC and unwind under the stars! Our new summer series — Music, Movement & Movies — draws your busy week to a relaxing end. 

The weekly program features a DJ, dance performances curated by Dance New Jersey, movement class for all abilities and a film screening. The program takes place in Chambers Plaza, NJPAC’s redesigned front yard, so bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and get set to enjoy a relaxing summer night.  

Popcorn will be available for purchase. 
In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

Film: You Got Served

It’s a dance battle, live and on the big screen! Watch high-energy dancers (Divyank Bajaj and Yvonne Huatin Chow) compete for audience favor and try some Jersey Club moves taught by Anthony “Solo” Harris of Solo Expression. Music by DJ Garrett.

Aug 20 | Latin Night 

Film: Encanto

We might not talk about Bruno in this animated hit, but we will sing the praises of a live musical quintet and Latin rhythms taught by Smiling David. Watch the fancy footwork of Mario Gonzalez and Inspirational Dance Studio.

Aug 27 | West African Night 

Film: The Woman King

Feel the rhythm of live drums and pounding feet. Performances feature the talent of NJPAC Arts Education young dancers and the professional dancers and drummers of Kofago Dance Ensemble. Jerome Hunter will teach a West African dance class for all levels and movement abilities.
