Broadway’s brightest stars light up the American Songbook at NJPAC. Host Ted Chapin is joined by special guests James Monroe Iglehart and Jim Dale for scintillating conversation and song.

Meet our stars

That charisma. That smile. That voice! James Monroe Iglehart is best known for his Tony-winning triumph as Genie in Broadway’s Aladdin. He’s also starred in Hamilton and Chicago and guest starred in Freestyle Love Supreme. Most recently, James appears in the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Disney’s Disenchanted.

MBE Jim Dale is a legend on both sides of the pond. His Broadway triumphs included Scapino, Candide, Me and My Girl, The Music Man, and his Tony Award-winning turn in Barnum. He shares hilarious and heartwarming tales of his life in showbiz in Just Jim Dale, his solo tour-de-force. You may also know Jim as the GRAMMY® Award-winning narrator of the Harry Potter audiobooks.

Ted Chapin’s storied career encompasses producing, performing and a 40-year run as President of the Rodgers &Hammerstein organization. He is the host of American Songbook at NJPAC.
