ready to welcome you to our theaters

Your safety is our priority. The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ended May 11, 2023, but we remain vigilant about the health and safety of our guests, artists, students and staff. Our air filtration system meets or exceeds recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). When necessary, we’ll adjust our health and safety policies in consultation with local and national public health experts.

Here’s how we’re keeping you safe:

Touchless ticketing

Touchless plumbing fixtures

Premium HVAC

Sanitizing stations

Arts Education programs at NJPAC

Your safety is our priority. Since the pandemic began, we’ve collaborated with medical professionals, invested in building upgrades and put new procedures in place to protect our guests, staff, volunteers and faculty. Just a few things you might want to know: For SchoolTime performances, no vaccinations or tests are required and masks are welcome. For summer and Saturday programs, masks are welcome.

NJPAC values the safety of our audiences, artists, and staff. It regularly updates its COVID protocols and procedures based on CDC, federal, state, city, and other scientific data. NJPAC reserves the right to alter safety protocols at any time and at its sole discretion including but not limited to social distancing, vaccines/testing, masks, food service limitations, venue capacity, and entrance requirements as it deems appropriate.

Despite our best efforts, we cannot absolutely guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 while attending an event at NJPAC. Please be aware that the risk of such exposure exists in any public place or large gathering. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable to this disease. Please take this into consideration before buying tickets. By visiting NJPAC you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
