Give thanks for the laughs! The Thanksgiving Comedy Fest is our new favorite holiday tradition, bringing you a feast of today’s funniest comics. Features Earthquake, Luenell, Capone, and Smokey Suarez, and hosted by Tony Rock.
Brooklyn-born comedian, actor, producer Tony Rock is the hardest working man in show business. One of comedy’s all-time best hosts, you’ve seen him on All Def Comedy, The Warm Up, Black Card Revoked, Apollo Live, and Living Biblically. He’s recently appeared on the Platinum Comedy Tour with Mike Epps, The Festival Of Laughs with Comedienne Sommore, and his own Tony Rock Live club tour.
The former host of Quake’s House on WBLS-FM and star of the hit comedy special These Ain’t Jokes, you’ve seen Earthquake on HBO, BET, Comedy Central, and the late-night talk show circuit. Since his breakout stand-up special About Got Damn Time, he has appeared on the big screen in Getting Played, Barnyard, Clerks II, and on the small screen in Everybody Hates Chris and Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens.
Luenell is a force of nature best known for her breakthrough role as the “hooker with the heart of gold” in Borat, as well as her two-year tour and DVD appearances with Katt Williams. She’s appeared in numerous films, including A Star Is Born, Dolemite Is My Name, Hotel Transylvania, Taken 2, and That’s My Boy. You’ve also seen her in Snoop Dogg’s Bad Girls of Comedy and Lopez.
“The Gangster of Comedy,” Capone (born Derrick Lee) is straight out of the Bronx. The former host of Harlem’s legendary Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater, he’s performed at Caroline’s Comedy Club and toured with N.Y. Kings of Comedy, Def Comedy Jam in England, and Shaquille O’Neal’s All-Star Comedy Jam.
With his raspy, weathered voice and incisive wit, Smokey Suarez blends impeccable comedic timing, clever punchlines, and bold physical comedy into one completely sensational stand-up routine. You’ve seen him in starring roles in such Rocafella films as Paper Soldiers, Death of the Dynasty, and State Property 2.
