If you like stand-up comedy, don’t miss the NJPAC debut of Ryan Hamilton, one of the country’s fastest-rising entertainers, recently classified by Rolling Stone as one of “Five Comics to Watch.”
Often referred to as a “clean” comedian, Hamilton’s hilarious, observational humor might cover anything from his skydiving experience to the challenges of being single – all seasoned with a healthy dose of sarcasm. A standout guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan, Hamilton has also made memorable appearances on Last Comic Standing and on Comedy Central. Most recently, he made a big splash opening for Jerry Seinfeld and Gad Elmaleh at Carnegie Hall, and wowed audiences with his first Netflix special, Ryan Hamilton: Happy Face.
When he performed his latest show, Edgy, Boundary-Pushing Comedian, at the 2017 Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Forget the Box wrote that his work was “fresh, poignant, and light-hearted without sacrificing depth.”
