When people come together, they change each other—
and make things happen.

As New Jersey’s anchor cultural institution, NJPAC has transformed how communities in New Jersey and beyond engage with the arts.

Now NJPAC is advancing a five-year capital campaign of $175 million to seed unique new initiatives, extend the impact of our mission and sustain our vibrant institution.

With $100 million raised to date, our capital campaign is helping NJPAC bring people together and so much more. All together now:

  • build a new home for creativity and community engagement on  Center Street: the Cooperman Family Education and Community Center
  • augment existing programs for youth with services supporting the whole child
  • ensure teachers have the tools they need to nurture the next generation of artists, thinkers, and changemakers
  • develop creative, innovative, and engaging parent-and-child classes for growing families
  • offer targeted programs for adults and seniors that foster creative aging
  • develop arts-infused wellness services that support creative, resilient, and healthy communities

  • create access to the arts for thousands more each year through statewide and national presenting
  • produce innovative, new multi-platform shows that reach people in the theater, in the classroom, on TV, and online
  • partner with content providers including Netflix and BET to bring NJPAC productions to the world
  • foster a boundary-less campus through authentic and inclusive community engagement and audience development

  • execute an inclusive and welcoming real estate master plan for the  3 undeveloped acres of land on  our campus
  • grow our endowment, cash reserves, and annual fund to ensure continued financial sustainability…and take advantage of new, entrepreneurial opportunities
  • deepen partnerships with peer anchor institutions in Newark
  • Continue to thrive as America’s most diverse performing arts center, with programming, audiences and staff that all reflect our community’s remarkable range of cultures and ethnicities

Let’s Lift Each Other Up

  • build a new home for creativity and community engagement on  Center Street: the Cooperman Family Education and Community Center
  • augment existing programs for youth with services supporting the “whole child”

Let’s Put Ourselves Out There

  • create access to the arts for thousands more each year through statewide and national presenting
  • produce innovative, new multi-platform shows that reach people in the theater, in the classroom, on TV, and online
  • partner with content providers including Netflix and BET to bring NJPAC productions to the world
  • foster a boundary-less campus through authentic and inclusive community engagement and audience development

Let’s Go Above and Beyond

  • execute an inclusive and welcoming real estate master plan for the  3 undeveloped acres of land on  our campus
  • grow our endowment, cash reserves, and annual fund to ensure continued financial sustainability…and take advantage of new, entrepreneurial opportunities
  • deepen partnerships with peer anchor institutions in Newark and build on core competencies to increase impact
  • lead as America’s most diverse performing arts center via programming, audience, and staff

NJPAC’s capital campaign is a great opportunity for my wife and me to support NJPAC’s work, and ensure that this institution can continue its important mission for decades to come.

Everyone has a role to play at NJPAC. That’s why we’re calling our campaign All Together Now: we need as many supporters as possible to play their unique part in our future.
