Creative Intersections is a dance and movement experience that simultaneously explores both the unique and common voices of our distinct art forms as well as how our individual passions and roots shape us as artists, educators and human beings. We will move, create, laugh, talk and exchange.  In doing so, we come to better understand each other and ourselves. The Arts become a powerful metaphor for life and community. (No dance experience needed.)

Learning Goals:

  • Explore center driven movement (both physical and emotional).
  • Create contemporary dance illustrating the power of this art form.
  • Stimulate profound interpersonal connections that ultimately build community.
  • Inspire awareness, challenge our views of both ourselves and others, and create physical and verbal dialogue.
