5 virtual realtime sessions, up to 1 hour each
Curriculum Connections: English Language Arts, Theater
Students in grades 6–12 hone their acting, playwriting and cooperation skills as they create an original theater piece. In devised theater, the creative experience originates from a collaborative, improvisational process, which students are led through by a professional teaching artist.
This is an online experience.
For real-time virtual sessions, participating in in-person classrooms will need access to a computer or smartboard with internet connectivity, and a webcam and microphone for the duration of their selected programming. For virtual classrooms, the teaching artist will log-into your online classroom. All dates and times will be coordinated during a pre-residency planning meeting.
