Overview

Nearly one-quarter of adults take care of a loved one, young or old, who has a disability or suffers from a medical condition. This meaningful experience — with precious moments of joy and tenderness — can also be filled with challenges and hardships.

The weight of responsibility often strains the caregivers’ physical and mental well-being, their relationships with other loved ones, their performance in the workplace and their financial resources.

In honor of National Caregivers Month, our Standing in Solidarity conversation is spotlighting caregivers. Join us to find community and discover resources to help ease the caregivers’ load.

Our PSEG Foundation Social Impact film is Caregiving, a PBS documentary executive produced by Bradley Cooper.

How to participate:

  1. Register here.
  2. Watch Caregiving in advance at home.
  3. Join us for a virtual panel discussion on Mon, April 20, at 7PM.

In partnership with Dodge Poetry, the program will open with poetry from Alexis Green, spoken word artist, digital marketer and former caregiver.

Our panel will be moderated by Keith Da Costa, Co-Founder and Managing Director of CareSparc Consulting, Inc.
