Join us for an evening of music and storytelling with Gwen Moten, an esteemed vocalist, conductor and White House-appointed American Cultural Specialist. Moten will perform a curated version of her one-woman show, From Birmingham to Botswana, which journeys through her musical influences, life experiences and the impact of motherhood. Moten is one of the newest members of NJPAC’s Council of Elders in addition to being CEO of Theatre World Music Service, a City of Newark Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commissioner and former City Director of Arts and Culture.
