Overview
Pianist and composer Adegoke Steve Colson has performed internationally as a leader of jazz ensembles ranging from trios to orchestras. Born in Newark and raised in East Orange, NJ, he studied at Northwestern University School of Music and lived in Chicago for a decade before returning to New Jersey with his wife, acclaimed vocalist Iqua Colson. Steve inaugurated the Bethany Church Jazz Vespers and has deep family roots in this Church.
