Join us for the Youth Edition of Newark’s legendary People’s Open Mic hosted by Newark’s Poet Laureate Mia X. This special outdoor event on Chamber’s Plaza will feature poetry readings, meditation and more. After this youth edition, participants are welcome to join for an optional walk to the Source of Knowledge bookstore to attend the People’s Open Mic scheduled that evening.
