Just like the book and movie, The Color Purple, this program honors the bonds of sisterhood and intergenerational ties. Come prepared to compete in a trivia game (red team vs. blue team) about note-worthy women in Newark and across the country. The rounds of questions will be interspersed with performances inspired by the 2023 film.
