Get in the holiday spirit this Wellness Wednesday with a virtual dance class led by Radio City Rockette Sally Hong!
Sally was a Rockette for six seasons. She performed on Broadway in Flower Drum Song and in the national tours of The King and I, Flower Drum Song (dance captain), and 42nd St. She has taught in studios and schools nationwide — currently at Sacred Heart University — and was one of the first to teach The Rockette Experience at Radio City. As dance director for Notre Dame Catholic High School, Sally secured multiple grants fulfilling her dream to introduce groups of students to Broadway shows and take workshops from cast members.
Sally is also co-founder of Rockettes of Color Alumnae and is passionate about diversifying the line for future generations. Now, for NJPAC, she will teach a virtual class highlighting the sharp, precise movements necessary to achieve the uniform style of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. Don’t miss your chance to dance with Sally on December 1 at 7:30PM.
